Inspiration God’s written Word was recorded by fallible men. How then did He preserve His Word from error and omission? He did it through the Holy Spirit’s superintending work. This is the Spirit’s perfect guidance in which He used the writers’ personalities and styles but kept them from making mistakes and from omitting what He wanted mankind to know (2 Peter 1:21).
